If you happen to be planning your New Years Eve celebrations in Liverpool, then you have a lot to choose from, as the city is buzzing at this time of year and everyone is getting into the festive spirit.

There's a massive range of New Year Events in the hotels, bars and restaraunts, so plenty to choose from as long as you make sure to get your booking in!

There are also fantastic Christmas Markets on St George's Plateau and WIlliam Brown Street from Mid November through to Christmas Eve, with over 40 huts with artisan gifts and produces, hot and cold food and not forgetting the all important mulled wine!

Liverpool Philaharmonic New Years Eve

For those looking for a more culture based evening, the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall will be hosting a special Bond themed evening with its New Years Eve: Shaken, Not Stirred, performed by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by David Arnold and vocals by Jacinta Whyte. NYE on the Dock

What a way to see in the New Year, standing on the Dock outside the Titanic Hotel with an epic view of the fireworks. Held annually in Stanley's Bar and Grill, there is an a la carte menu to choose from and just before midnight you are invited dockside for the (unofficial fireworks). Tickets available here.

Megalopolis at The Invisible Wind Factory

With live art performances and installations, Vogue dancers, DJs in various rooms with music to suit pretty much every taste, this is set to be a place of music and culture and will be a great way to see in the new year. Get your tickets now: Megalopolis

New Years Eve at Gulliver's World

This is a family friendly event, with activities, Land of Lights Festival, food, entertainment and selected rides open between 5.30 and 11.30pm. Marvel at the street entertainers and fire performers and enjoy the Fireworks Spectacular at 10pm. Tickets available here

Viennese Christmas Spectacular by Candlelight
