The main event continues to be First Night Ocean city, an alcohol free, family friendly series of events throughout the city on new years eve.

Taking place at over 20 venues and including dozens of different acts and attractions, the First Night celebration has something for everyone. You can enjoy ice skating, live music, ballet, karaoke, game shows, story telling, rides, skate park, magicians and loads more. No New Year's Eve party is eer really complete without some epic fireworks, so you'll be pleased to heat that you can see the pyrotechnics at midnight, launched from 5th Street Beach.

Winterfest of Lights Celebrations & Fireworks

As if the First Night party wasn't entertainment enough, another new years eve option takes place down at Northside Park, on 125th Street, Bayside.

This is another family friendly event and includes the chance to walk through the more than 1 million lights that make up the Northside Park Winterfest of Lights, live entertainment with a local DJ and then the countdown to midnight followed by fireworks.
