Visit Albuquerque's Old Town with its museums, restaurants, adobe architecture, outdoor vendors selling their crafts and go see San Felipe de Neri Church, built in 1793. The Old Town is also a great place for Christmas Eve as the community gathers in the Old Town's main plaza to enjoy the luminaria displays, listen to carollers and feel festive!

Take a balloon ride with unforgettable views over the Rio Grande Valley as the sun rises or sets depending on whether or not you're a morning person or not.

This gathering starts around 8pm and goes on until after the countdown to Midnight.

Another fun event is at Nob Hill, where they have had the Chili Drop for the past couple of years (it's a 15ft long chilli that drops at midnight!) This gets busy so make sure to get there with time to spare.
